Para iniciar esta ruta hacia la Ermita de la Virgen del Robledo, deberás ir hacia la Oficina de Turismo de Constantina, la cual se encuentra justo al lado de la Exposición Etnográfica. Desde allí dirígete hasta el Paseo de la Alameda, y antes de entrar gira a la izquierda, donde te encontrarás con la Caseta Municipal de la localidad, además, desde ahí se tiene una vista magnífica del Monasterio La Victoria de San José “El Gurugú”. Una vez allí, vuelve a girar a la izquierda y sigue todo recto, hasta que llegues a una pequeña glorieta donde observarás varias señalizaciones, teniendo que ir dirección Las Navas de la Concepción. Cuando por esa carretera llegues a otra glorieta, a menos de 600 metros, tienes que ir hacia la izquierda, dirección Virgen del Robledo. Sigue todo recto, por donde pasarás por unas casas, y por un centro de conservación. Desde allí, a unos 800 metros, llegarás a la Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Robledo.

La leyenda cuenta que durante un grave episodio de peste bubónica, la Virgen se le apareció a un joven pastor, llamado Melchor, en un paraje de esta localidad conocido como “El Robledo”, y justo después todos los enfermos se habían curado. En torno al lugar se levantó una pequeña ermita donde darle culto a la Santísima Virgen que se había aparecido sobre las ramas de un roble, elemento del que posteriormente tomaría el nombre de su advocación mariana. A lo largo de los siglos ha gozado de infinidad de indulgencias y atenciones, teniendo el título de Patrona de Constantina fue coronada canónicamente el 15 de agosto de 1988, y más recientemente, en el año 1994, se le concede la medalla de oro de la localidad.
La construcción de la ermita fue realizada en varias etapas, siendo su parte más primitiva de estilo mudéjar, con tres naves, separadas por arcos apuntados encuadrados en alfiz y presbiterio cubierto por una cúpula de media naranja decorada con pinturas murales que evocan las letanías marianas. A principios del s. XVIII se produce una transformación en la cabecera del edificio y, a finales de ese mismo siglo, se remata para formar el actual camarín, que nos presenta una decoración propia del último periodo del barroco sevillano. En dicho camarín, se localiza a la Virgen del Robledo bajo templete de plata y en su base aún se puede apreciar un tronco de roble, árbol sobre el que cuenta la leyenda que la Virgen apareció.
En el año 1927 se añade el porche de acceso a la ermita, formando todo el conjunto una edificación armónica rematada con una sencilla espadaña sobre la que destaca la linterna final del propio camarín. El primer domingo de agosto, y tras su correspondiente novena, la imagen de la Patrona es trasladada al pueblo, donde permanece hasta el último domingo de septiembre en el que vuelve a su ermita en la popular y festival romería.
