It starts on the western slope of the “El Castillo” Park and runs along its route between stone walls, which limit the path with the farms to which it has access. It is a route that was once very popular with both settlers and transhumants.

Auf jeden Fall beginnen wir mit einem Spaziergang flussabwärts entlang des Flussufers, das uns zweifellos mit einem der ökologisch wertvollsten Gebiete des Naturparks beglückt.
Ein herrlicher Galeriewald beeindruckt den Wanderer mit Erlen, Weiden, Eschen, Schwarzpappeln und Sträuchern, die für sehr feuchte Gebiete typisch sind. Auch die Fauna ist von großem Wert, mit einer enormen Vielfalt an Vögeln und Säugetieren, die für diesen Lebensraum typisch sind, wie z. B. der Fischotter. Der Einfluss von Besuchern mit geringem Umweltbewusstsein trägt jedoch nicht zur Erhaltung dieser Arten bei.
Unterwegs kann man sich im Erholungsgebiet Molino del Corcho ausruhen, bevor man auf der anderen Seite des Flusses den ebenso einfachen, angenehmen und gut ausgeschilderten Rück

This trail is part of the Sierra Morena of Seville, in the town of Constantina. It is a short circular route of 5.5 km and, as the name suggests, it is surrounded by chestnut groves along its route.
It is a perfect route to go with the family and spend a day in the countryside.
